Rackswitch bandwidth provisioning and lifecycle management is a core/critical area in datacenter networking. The charter of the team is cost efficiency, reliability (i.e., minimize network congestion and impact to internal/external users), and application performance. Sub-areas include: rack level job scheduling and optimizing rack switch uplink bandwidth provisioning. Lifecycle management of rack switch deployment, configuration, and decomissioning and infrastructure support for introducing new rackswitch hardware platforms.
