About The Position

Software Engineer Team Lead Location: Ideal candidates will be able to report to our Pulse Point location at 740 W. Peachtree St NW, Atlanta, GA 30308. This role requires associates to be in-office 1 - 2 days per week, fostering collaboration and connectivity, while providing flexibility to support productivity and work-life balance. This approach combines structured office engagement with the autonomy of virtual work, promoting a dynamic and adaptable workplace. Work Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm The Software Engineer Team Lead is responsible for supporting design, development, and implementation of complex software solutions. How You Will Make an Impact: Meet with stakeholders to recommend and define new products solutions. Lead engineer on the planning, designing, development, testing and debugging new and existing software applications. Drive projects through full development lifecycle utilizing best practices, from inception to product delivery, including architecture, design, implementation, and testing. Lead technical requirements for automation and infrastructure gathering meetings and review designs with the business. Work on multiple complex design projects and problems and make enhancements to or maintain existing software as per business requirements. Collaborate with business analysts, technical staff and leadership on complex projects to identify software solutions and/or troubleshoot problems with software solutions. Perform end-to-end development and maintenance of CI/ CD automation pipelines. Support and maintain Cloud infrastructure, deployments, and application releases. Design and implement a robust infrastructure on AWS for an advanced pharmacy home delivery solution, ensuring scalability and reliability. Provision and manage AWS resources, including EKS, MSK, ElastiCache, S3, Lambda, and others using Terraform, achieving infrastructure as code (IaC) best practices. Develop standards and best practices for application code merge, integration, and deployments. Develop and maintain technical documentation and architecture required to maintain CI/ CD pipelines and application deployments. Manage multiple infrastructure environments, ensuring regular version updates and upgrades, maintaining system stability and security. Deploy applications into production environments, ensuring seamless transitions and minimal downtime. Participate in on-call support for production incidents in adherence with the application SLAs and reliability requirements. Actively collaborate and share knowledge and responsibility with other team members and teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering (any), or related field of study.
  • Seven (7) years of experience in any occupation with Information Technology (IT) experience, or related.
  • Seven (7) years of experience in any occupation with Information Technology (IT) experience or related must include: DevOps; Java; Python; Kubernetes; Bamboo; Terraform; Shell Script; and Splunk.
