Our fifth-generation Spectacles, powered by Snap OS, showcase how standalone, see-through AR glasses make playing, learning, and working better together. We’re looking for a Software Engineer to join the Spectacles team at Snap Inc!
Requirements
- Knowledge of software development in iOS and Android mobile apps
- You understand the operational aspects of your system and may participate in incident or hotfix investigation and resolution
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Bachelor's Degree in a relevant technical field such as computer science or equivalent years of practical work experience
- 3+ years of experience with consumer-facing iOS and Android mobile app development
- Proficiency in Swift or Objective-C for iOS development
- Proficiency in Kotlin or Java for Android development
Nice To Haves
- Experience with building apps or services running on AR/VR devices
- Experience with cross-platform development, such as building software running across AR/VR and mobile devices
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and operate features across Spectacles device, mobile app and cloud to enrich Spectacles product experiences and fulfill our vision of spatial computing
- Work with Product, Design and partners across teams to understand product requirements, evaluate trade-offs, and deliver the solutions needed to build innovative products
- Evaluate, appropriately test, and debug your work, striving for high quality
