In this role, you will perform software development tasks supporting Navy programs. The successful candidate will have experience and knowledge of coding in C++, gRPC, publish/subscribe (pub/sub) design patterns, AMQP or other brokerâbased messaging protocols, and the Linux Operating System. This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate will be required to hold an active government Secret security clearance. Requirements

BS in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or equivalent STEM field.
Experience with storage technologies (NAS and/or RAID/HBA controllers)
Experience with enterprise storage platforms (NetAPP, Pure Storage, IBM Storage, etc)
Experience with Linux systems and software development.
Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
experience and knowledge of coding in C++, gRPC, publish/subscribe (pub/sub) design patterns, AMQP or other brokerâbased messaging protocols, and the Linux Operating System.
This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate will be required to hold an active government Secret security clearance.
This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Nice To Haves

Familiarity with storage concepts like erasure coding, tiered caching, data deduplication
Experience with Cloud/Container technologies (Kubernetes / K8s, OpenStack, VMWare, AWS S3, Azure Blob, GCP Cloud Storage, Terraform)
Background using Software Defined Storage Technologies (Ceph, GlusterFS, Lustre, VMWare, vSAN, OpenStack Ciner/Swift, NVMe-oF)
Familiarity with Distributed File Systems
Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code
