About the team:
As part of the FIS Securities Processing division, the Post Trade Processing (PTP) team is focused on delivering solutions which meet the Middle and Back Office requirements of our various clients.
The work involves continuous development of the “PTP product” (stemming from client enhancement requests or roadmap initiatives), improving the testing infrastructure and providing on-going platform maintenance and support. Your role within PTP Middle Office will help us stay ahead of the competition, building out new market functionality more quickly and more efficiently than our competitors, whilst embracing new technologies, and adapting to the ever-changing landscape of the financial markets.
What you will be doing:
· Consistently delivering quality working code to users in the most efficient timeframe.
· Working pragmatically and with a mix of independent and collaborative work.
· Collaborating on code reviews and best practice within a small, agile, focused team.
· Analyzing user requirements and translate into solution design.
· Devising accurate task breakdown and time estimation.

Requirements

• 3 - 5 years of experience
• Proficiency in C++ and Linux.

Nice To Haves

• Worked on financial services products previously.
• Proficiency in Python and / or C#.
• Technical experience in using AWS and / or Kafka.
• Ideally some experience in Oracle SQL, Docker.
