About The Position

The Role: At SoFi and Galileo, we aren't just building a bank; we are building the "AWS of Fintech." We are seeking a Fullstack Software Engineer to join our Money Movement team. In this role, you will contribute to our banking core, supporting the design of account structures and helping maintain the resilient money movement rails our members rely on. You will expand your footprint by taking on increased responsibility for projects that have team and department impact.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years of related experience; OR an advanced degree without experience; OR equivalent work experience.
• Proven experience programming on a modern stack (Kotlin, Spring, or similar).
• Solid understanding of relational databases, ORMs, and collaborative coding environments (Git).
• A committed and dependable approach to solving problems and shipping features.
• Accountability for results and a desire to build strong, productive relationships within the team.

Responsibilities

• Develop and test system components and services, participating in code and design reviews.
• Apply defined company policies and procedures to resolve a variety of basic to moderate issues.
• Collaborate with team members and cross-functional partners to gather requirements and deliver quality work.
• Identify roadblocks and proactively share updates with your manager to ensure project progress.
• Practice "failing fast" to learn, iterate, and improve our member products.
