About The Position

Praescient Analytics has an immediate opening for Cyber Support Detachment (CSD) Software Engineer to support an Army Cyber Command contract in Alexandria, VA. You must have an active TS/SCI level clearance to be considered for this role and U.S. Citizenship is required. Requirements

  • Experience with programming languages such as Ruby, Python, C#, Java, or PowerShell
  • High School diploma or GED and 7+ years of experience as a Software Engineer or a Bachelors Degree and 3+ years of experience as a Software Engineer
  • A Certified Secure Software Lifecycle Professional (CSSLP) Certification
  • Active TS/SCI Level clearance

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working on multiple OS platforms, including Linux and Windows
  • Experience with the Windows Computing Environment (CE)
  • Linux and / or Windows CE Certification
  • DoD Approved 8570 - Information Assurance Technician (IAT) Level II certification such as CCNA Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, CND or SSCP Certification, or higher IAT Certification

Responsibilities

  • Integrates or codes algorithms to support Government intelligence search and discovery missions.
  • Makes best practice recommendations on managing data within hardware, software, storage, and bandwidth constraints.
  • Employs data science techniques to support predictive analysis, social media and crowd-source data analytics, wargaming, and strategy development.
  • Employs exploratory analysis and rapid iteration techniques of large volumes of data to quickly derive intelligence.
