As a Software Engineer Lead within PNC's Technology organization, this role is based in Dallas, TX. PNC is an in-office company that fosters a supportive culture where employees can thrive and achieve balance. The position involves creating and leading the technical design and development of software solutions, proposing and designing software solutions to address complex business needs, and preparing technical and procedural documentation. The lead will facilitate complex problem resolution, provide technical guidance and support to colleagues, and review coding, testing, and documentation of software. This role applies modern principles, methodologies, and tools to advance business initiatives and capabilities. PNC employees are expected to be Customer Focused, knowledgeable of values and practices that align customer needs and satisfaction as primary considerations, and skilled in Managing Risk by assessing and effectively managing all risks associated with business objectives and activities to ensure adherence to PNC's Enterprise Risk Management Framework.

Responsibilities

  • Creates and leads the technical design and development of software solutions.
  • Proposes & designs software solutions to address complex business needs.
  • Prepares technical and procedural documentation required.
  • Facilitates complex problem resolution.
  • Provides technical guidance and support to colleagues.
  • Reviews coding, testing, and documentation of software.
