About The Position

The Standard is seeking a Software Engineer IV, who will drive large-scale transformation by modernizing the ecosystem that powers our Voluntary Business. As the Software Engineer IV on one of our integration platform teams, you’ll own the actual development of functionality that enables applications to work seamlessly together. You’ll partner with Product Owners, Scrum Masters, Architects, and dependent teams to design, build, and deliver high-quality integration solutions that move the business forward. In this role, you will design and build features & services on our integration platform to connect and orchestrate applications across the ecosystem. You’ll guide a team of developers by providing technical direction, coaching best practices, reviewing code, and elevating overall engineering quality. Collaboration is key—you’ll work closely with Product Owners and Scrum Masters to refine scope, align priorities, and plan sprints, while partnering with Architects to design and implement scalable solutions and contribute to the business roadmap. You’ll also interface with external stakeholders to clarify requirements and ensure integration points meet both business & technical needs. You’ll own delivery across dependencies by managing timelines, tracking deliverables, mitigating risks, and driving escalations to resolution. Your experience with large‑scale system integration (enterprise, multi‑app ecosystems) will be highly sought after.
