The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating high-performance applications and will be involved in all stages of the software development lifecycle.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a bachelor's program in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, or a related field.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills to provide input to presentations to non-technical participants.
• The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required.
• U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Nice To Haves

• Experience developing GUI software using Java.
• Software development lifecycle experience using an Agile methodology.
• Experience with tools such as Confluence, Eclipse, Jira, Jenkins, Junit and Rational Team Concert.
• Excellent communications skills, verbal and written, with technical, customer and senior leadership audiences.
• Self-motivated.
• Proven ability and desire to facilitate knowledge transfer.
• Experience in software development.
• Proven ability to develop technical solutions to complex issues.
• Familiarity with MS Office.
• GPA of 3.0+ in a 4.0 grade scale.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deliver, and maintain software for complex systems and applications
• Work with talented teams of engineers, architects, and leaders in an Agile environment.
• Functional analysis of real world and test data
• Demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ensure technical correctness, timeliness and quality of deliverables.
• Work alongside other members of the software team to analyze and develop software verification test cases and procedures.
