Temenos is looking for four Software Engineer Interns to join their product development team within a leading core banking technology company. This role offers hands-on experience contributing to real banking software products used by financial institutions worldwide. The internship is ideal for students who want to apply their technical skills while learning about large-scale, secure, and mission-critical systems.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled as a university student in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Knowledge of programming languages (e.g., Java, C#, Python, or similar).
  • Familiarity with software development fundamentals (data structures, APIs, version control).
  • Interest in fintech, banking systems, or enterprise software development.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and work well in a team.
  • Motivated to learn and grow in a professional software engineering environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Exposure to Git or other source control tools

Responsibilities

  • Support the development and enhancement of core banking and financial software solutions.
  • Assist in designing, coding, testing, and debugging software components.
  • Work with senior engineers and product teams to understand business and technical requirements.
  • Contribute to new features, bug fixes, and performance improvements.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices.
  • Participate in code reviews, team meetings, and agile ceremonies.
  • Help with unit testing, integration testing, and basic troubleshooting.
  • Learn and apply secure coding principles relevant to banking and financial systems.
  • Document technical learnings and contribute to shared development resources.
