We are seeking motivated individuals for Software Engineer in Test internships available during the Spring, Summer, and Fall terms. As part of the Engineering Development Group, you'll have the opportunity to develop and apply software testing skills in a collaborative and innovative environment. Interns work in a wide range of areas such as Cloud Computing and Infrastructure, AI, Code Generation, Compilers, Data Analysis and Visualization, and Web and UI technologies. This internship will prepare you for a Software Engineer in Test career at MathWorks starting in our Engineering Development Group. Requirements

• Candidates must be pursuing a master's level or a PhD level degree in a technical discipline.
• Strong programming skills in one or more object-oriented programming languages (e.g., C++, JavaScript, MATLAB, etc.)
• Passion for learning new technologies.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in software testing or testing frameworks is a plus, but not required.
• Experience with web development and/or cloud technologies is a plus.

Responsibilities

• You will collaborate closely with Software Engineering in Test teams and work with modern tools and frameworks to build automated testing solutions, design test strategies, author tools and harnesses, and improve code coverage.
• You will work with one of our 100+ products and gain exposure to industry best practices in software qualification, continuous integration, and agile development.
