What you'll do at Jamf: The Software Engineer in Test II at Jamf will participate in agile delivery events providing tests and the framework to assist in delivering software with high quality and reliability to our customers. They'll work closely with the agile team to break down problems and apply the appropriate practices to test our product. The Software Engineer in Test ll dives in and develop a depth of knowledge around the area of the product. They'll use this knowledge to mentor and coach others. They will collaborate with other engineers, product management and leadership to understand the team's prioritiesand how those help us solve company-wide problems. They'll help the team achieve these priorities all while keeping a positive attitude. This role if offered as remote in Minneapolis, MN and Eau Claire, WI. You may be required to work periodically at a Jamf office or collaborative work location with other Jamf employees in your area for certain events or moments that matter. We are only able to accept applications for those based in either of these locations.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience testing with enterprise grade software with understanding of testing and quality assurance processes. (Required)
  • Minimum of 3 years of specialized experience in developing automated test suites for newly developed platform services and microservices architectures. (Required)
  • Proficiency with modern testing frameworks suitable for platform services (REST Assured, Postman/Newman or similar) (Required)
  • Experience with containerized testing environments (Docker, Kubernetes) (Required)
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipeline integration for automated testing of new service deployments (Required)
  • Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools for test validation. (Required)
