About The Position
Daifuku Intralogistics America Corporation is a leading provider of intelligent material handling systems. The Java Software Engineer III (Backend) will be responsible for building custom software solutions of high-quality while adhering to coding standards and technical design. Ideal candidates must possess 7+ years of Java experience, Automated Material Handling Industry Experience, and be authorized to work in the U.S. without employer sponsorship.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 7 years of professional experience designing and developing software applications
- 7+ years Java Experience
- Automated Material Handling Industry Experience
- Authorized to work in the U.S without Employer Sponsorship
- Extensive proficiency with Java and the JDK Framework
- Proficiency with Object Oriented Programming (OOP)
- Proficiency with troubleshooting/debugging software applications
- Extensive experience with Java Messaging Service
- Extensive experience with Java Servlet
- Experience with Windows Services
- Experience with Microsoft SQL Server
- Experience with Oracle
- Extensive experience with TCP/IP
- Experience with Eclipse

Responsibilities
- Designs and develops software applications
