Job Description: This job is responsible for developing and delivering complex requirements to accomplish business goals. Key responsibilities of the job include ensuring that software is developed to meet functional, non-functional and compliance requirements, and solutions are well designed with maintainability/ease of integration and testing built-in from the outset. Job expectations include a strong knowledge of development and testing practices common to the industry and design and architectural patterns. Position Summary: Under general guidance, the Senior Lead Java Developer acts individually or as part of a team to provide development services of a highly complex and technical nature. Assignments at this level require extensive Java development and OpenShift container and unit test experience in order to develop code, review code, and work with the rest of the development staff. The senior Java developer must be able to take a broad view of development and provide strategic recommendations and be able to work without supervision to deliver within Agile sprints on time. Incumbent must be able to work under the pressure of strict time constraints and constantly changing priorities. The Senior Lead developer must be able to analyze and create design artifacts, and then implement them and drive the implementation.
