With your technical expertise, you will manage project priorities, deadlines,
and deliverables. You will design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance
software solutions.

between Google and the Android ecosystem at the individual device and user
level.

The Platforms and Devices team encompasses Google's various computing software
platforms across environments (desktop, mobile, applications), as well as our
first party devices and services that combine the best of Google AI, software,
and hardware. Teams across this area research, design, and develop new
technologies to make our user's interaction with computing faster and more
seamless, building innovative experiences for our users around the world.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 2 years of experience with software development in Java.
• 2 years of experience with SQL.

Nice To Haves

• Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical fields.
• 2 years of experience with data structures and algorithms.
• Experience developing accessible technologies.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain the scalable App Content platform that serves as the ingestion engine for multiple Google surfaces.
• Build a personalized on-device catalog that extends Google's reach with real-time app data, allowing AI agents to analyze context and draw actionable insights.
• Serve the content catalog to power seamless user journeys initiated by AI agents, transforming how users interact with the Android app ecosystem.
• Contribute to existing documentation or educational content and adapt content based on product/program updates and user feedback.
• Triage product or system issues and debug/track/resolve by analyzing the sources of issues and the impact on hardware, network, or service operations and quality.
