The Role You’ll Play Partner with Product, Design, and QA to build, test, and deploy backend services that power the Playlist ecosystem. Work on tightly scoped tasks with mentorship and support while gradually expanding your technical ownership. Participate in thoughtful, constructive code reviews and actively contribute to improving engineering practices. Take part in team retrospectives, planning, and problem-solving sessions. Seek feedback often and use it to elevate your technical skills and teamwork. Write testable, maintainable, and well-documented code that aligns with engineering best practices. Grow your comfort and expertise in one or more technical areas, taking on increasingly complex work. Stay connected to our customers’ needs and take pride in building tools that help studio partners thrive.

Requirements

  • 2–4 years of experience building and supporting large-scale SaaS applications.
  • Solid experience with object-oriented languages such as C# or Java.
  • Comfortable working in and designing microservices architectures.
  • Experience monitoring systems using tools like New Relic, Kibana, or equivalent.
  • Familiarity with software development lifecycle, design patterns, and Agile methodologies.
  • Ability to assess the impact of new features and identify potential risks early.
  • Clear, professional communication skills—both written and verbal.
  • Detail-oriented, thoughtful, and proactive in your approach to solving problems.
  • A collaborative mindset and eagerness to learn from others.
