Starting January 26, 2026, Microsoft AI (MAI) employees who live within a 50- mile commute of a designated Microsoft office in the U.S. or 25-mile commute of a non-U.S., country-specific location are expected to work from the office at least four days per week. This expectation is subject to local law and may vary by jurisdiction.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 2+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python OR equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 4 years of development experience with exceptional coding, design, problem-solving, and analytical capabilities.
• Minimum of 2 years of development experience with exceptional coding, design, problem-solving, and analytical capabilities.
• Solid technical proficiency, particularly in React, AngularJS, Web Components, and CSS.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a solid emphasis on quality and engineering excellence.
• Proficiency in debugging and resolving issues across multiple subsystems.
• Solid sense of accountability and ownership throughout the entire project lifecycle.
• Experience with Git.
• Proven experience in developing highly available and scalable web services.

Nice To Haves

• Master's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 3+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python OR Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 5+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python OR equivalent experience.
• Familiarity with Bing UX.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills

Responsibilities

• Design and develop software solutions that deliver delightful and finely crafted user experiences on Bing.
• Design and develop responsive and visually appealing user interfaces using modern frontend technologies like HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and relevant frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js).
• Implement UX styling and design systems to maintain consistency and enhance usability across products.
• Collaborate with other teams to achieve these goals.
• Solve problems related to mission-critical services and build automation to prevent problem recurrence.
• Identify and fix or drive solutions for systemic issues.
• Customer Experience Obsession.
