The Secrets Management and PKI team within the Identity division is responsible for building highly reliable, scalable, and secure services and infrastructure that ensure customer trust in Microsoft's cloud platform. The team is seeking passionate software engineers and leaders to apply their skills to develop new, essential capabilities. This role involves being a technical leader, driving design and implementation, ensuring high-quality features and engineering systems, and making a significant impact on service reliability across Microsoft. The position requires leading a feature team in product and technology decisions, executing on fast-paced timelines, solving complex problems, and building innovative solutions using modern cloud technologies across the Azure platform, while fostering continuous learning and growth.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 2+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python OR equivalent experience.
• Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role.
• Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft background and Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Responsibilities

• Work on the core of Azure, building and securing the foundation of the cloud itself.
• Work across Azure to seamlessly integrate your service with partner teams, Azure product offerings, and our customers’ cloud infrastructure.
• Mentor developers on the team, create an environment where you and your team can do its best work, and influence and impact others through your results and collaboration.
• Develop and execute on a technical strategy for delivering new service capabilities.
• Build highly scalable, secure, and reliable web services & platforms running on Azure.
• Build intuitive and responsive user and developer experiences.
• Be responsible for technical design, implementation and quality of features and engineering systems.
• Interact and collaborate with partner teams to deliver cohesive, easy to use solutions for the Azure platform.
• Build on our Microsoft principles (create clarity, generate energy, deliver success) and values (respect, integrity, accountability) to effectively collaborate and make things happen.
