About The Position

Are you ready to join a growing team? CTG is seeking to fill a Software Engineer II opening for our client. Location: Remote Duration: 12 months Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and enhance applications, providing solutions for basic to complex business problems. Serve as a principal application designer, reviewing and preparing technical and functional specifications. Direct and monitor junior resources, coordinate development tasks, and ensure delivery on project milestones. Prepare and execute test plans, debug applications, and maintain efficient operation of supported systems. Recommend new technologies, processes, and policies to improve organizational efficiency. Collaborate with business units, operations, and technology teams to align system solutions with strategic objectives. Technical Skills Required: GitLab Administration: Setup groups/subgroups, migrate projects, manage AD permissions, branch rules, protected environments, and pipelines. SonarQube Administration: Configure applications/portfolios, migrate projects, and generate reports. Intermediate to advanced pipeline support, including GitLab components. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Experience coordinating between applications and business units and implementing system solutions. Requirements: Minimum of an Associate’s degree + 5 years of systems analysis/application development experience, or equivalent combination of education/work experience. Proficiency with project management tools, word processing, and spreadsheets. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to multitask and work independently or in a team environment. Detail-oriented, proactive, and action-oriented with advanced knowledge of supported systems. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained.
