We are looking for a Software Engineer II to join our team! We are Copilot Studio’s AI Orchestration team, which builds and operates large-scale generative AI orchestration powering millions of agents daily across Microsoft Copilot, Teams, voice, web, and more. Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 2+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python OR equivalent experience.
- Experience building generative AI applications or services.
- Experience with the Power Platform or M365 Enterprise development.
- Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
Nice To Haves
- 4+ years industry experience in full stack or backend development shipping services through multiple release.
Responsibilities
- Collaborates with stakeholders to determine user requirements.
- Drives design documentation and dependency identification.
- Builds, optimizes, debugs, refactors, and maintains high-quality code.
- Designs and runs experiments to evaluate effectiveness of changes.
- Partners with PMs to deliver project and release plans.
- Acts as DRI and participates in on-call rotations.
- Proactively adopts new technologies to improve reliability, performance, and observability.
- Mentors other engineers and provides technical leadership while embodying Microsoft’s culture and values.
