About The Position
Join the team transforming how millions of people access musculoskeletal (MSK) care. As a Fullstack Engineer, you will build and extend secure, scalable services that power our human-centered care model. Working on small interdisciplinary teams, you will design end-to-end solutions that directly impact our user journey, ensuring our members move beyond pain. You will profile systems to stay ahead of scaling bottlenecks, maintain a high bar with thoughtful code reviews, and share responsibility for healthy live site operations in a continuous deployment DevOps culture. What You'll Accomplish In your first 3 months: You will dive into our trunk-based CI/CD workflow to build, test, and deploy meaningful features every sprint. You will tackle problems with multiple execution paths and contribute to your team’s success by shipping code that powers beautiful client applications. In your first 6 months: You will take ownership of end-to-end solutions, profiling systems to stay ahead of scaling bottlenecks. You will proactively improve the maintainability and availability of our services while leveling up your skills through a detailed professional development plan. In your first year: You will help define the objectives and key results (OKRs) that shape your team’s roadmap. You will drive operational excellence by identifying root causes of incidents and contributing to our overall architecture and developer tooling. Who You Are A "Learn-it-all": You continuously level up your skills and spike on novel solutions to pay down tech debt. You are eager to explore new technologies across our stack (Node.js, TypeScript, React, AWS). A Trust Builder: You engage in thoughtful and constructive code reviews, sharing responsibility for healthy live site operations and fostering a culture of quality and reliability. Resilient: You tackle problems with a multitude of states and execution paths, ensuring steady and predictable delivery even in complex environments.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
- 2+ years of non-internship full-time professional software development experience.
- 2+ years of experience with TypeScript/JavaScript, Node.js, React.js, and SQL/NoSQL databases.
- Experience across the full software development life cycle (SDLC).
- Experience with cloud-based architectures (e.g., AWS, serverless technology).
Nice To Haves
- Familiarity with mobile UI development in React Native.
- Experience with test-driven development (TDD) and event-driven architecture.
- Experience working on a development team of 5+ engineers.
- Expertise in low-latency, highly resilient client-server architecture.
