Department OverviewMcDonald’s, one of the most recognized brands in the world, is seeking a skilled Software Development Engineer to lead the development of our in-store technology as part of Commercial Product & Platform organization. The Commercial Product & Platform vision develops global technology products and platforms that delight our customers and enable our crews to operate our restaurants reliably and effectively.The Order Team plays a critical role in delivering a seamless customer experience at McDonald’s. Their primary responsibility is to ensure every order is fulfilled accurately and efficiently. This involves managing all the essential steps in the order lifecycle, including:Ingredient Availability: Verifying that all required ingredients are stocked and ready for use.Store Readiness: Ensuring the store is open and operational to serve customers.Order Processing: Sending customer orders promptly to the kitchen for preparation.Payment Verification: Confirming that payments are successfully processed before order completion.By coordinating these activities, the Order Team ensures smooth operations and timely service, maintaining McDonald’s commitment to quality and customer satisfaction.
