As a Software Engineer II in Microsoft Security AI, you will play a vital role in designing and maintaining scalable, resilient infrastructure that supports security automation and service reliability. Your work will focus on building systems that enable seamless deployment, secure execution environments, and efficient service orchestration for AI-powered security solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high-performance computing environments, optimize workflows, and drive innovation in secure computing. Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 2+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python OR equivalent experience.
  • Candidates must be able to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role.
  • These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:
  • Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Nice To Haves

  • Master's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 3+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python OR Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 5+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python OR equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years of experience designing, developing, or maintaining secure software systems, with applied knowledge of authentication, data protection, access control, and secure coding practices.
  • 2+ years of experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, GCP, or comparable environments, including building and operating scalable, highly available services and systems.
  • 2+ years of experience designing and building scalable data pipelines and analytics infrastructure using orchestration tools such as Apache Airflow, Azure Data Factory, or equivalent, with an emphasis on data quality, automation, pipeline reliability, and framework development.
  • 1+ year of experience in AI/ML engineering preferably model deployment.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in building scalable, resilient infrastructure to support security automation and service reliability.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines to streamline deployment, enhance automation, and optimize workflow efficiency.
