As a Software Engineer in the ODSP Experiences Collab team, you will design and build modern, intelligent, and collaborative features across OneDrive and SharePoint. You will bring new AI‑powered capabilities to life—from content understanding and intelligent assistance to streamlined collaboration experiences across web, desktop, and mobile surfaces. You will work across service, platform, and UX layers to deliver reliable, performant, and user‑delighting experiences at global scale. Develop expertise in AI‑driven product development, large‑scale distributed systems, and collaborative UX patterns. Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 2+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python OR equivalent experience.

- Master's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 3+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python OR Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 5+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python OR equivalent experience.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and deliver high‑quality user experiences that power collaboration across OneDrive and SharePoint.
- Develop intelligent features that use artificial intelligence to help users create, understand, and organize their content more effectively.
- Build reliable, performant, and secure components across client and service layers to support large‑scale file collaboration scenarios.
- Work closely with design, product management, and research partners to translate customer needs into intuitive and impactful product experiences.
- Contribute to the technical architecture, code quality, and long‑term engineering health of the OneDrive and SharePoint product surfaces.
- Investigate and resolve complex issues in production environments to ensure a trustworthy and resilient user experience for global customers.
- Participate in planning, design reviews, and team‑wide discussions to drive clarity, improve processes, and foster a culture of inclusion and learning.
