Requirements

  • Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and less than 2 years of prior experience
  • Experience developing in C++ in a Linux environment
  • An understanding of concepts related to standard programming practices, software architecture, and networking.
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

  • Experience with one or more scripting languages, Python, Linux script, bash
  • Experience with Object Oriented Design and Development
  • Software development experience (i.e. internship, co-op, or other work or academic project experience)

Responsibilities

  • Responsibilities span the full lifecycle of product development, from architecture and design, through integration, test, and field support.
  • You will contribute to the build, test, and delivery of a set of software applications to be deployed to advanced systems that process modern communications for the U.S. Government.
  • You will work on complex technical problems and provide solutions which are highly innovative while participating on collaborative, cross-disciplined integrated product teams
  • Once cleared, you will work on actual field deployments of the product under development, ensuring proper setup, configuration, and functionality of systems being deployed.
  • Work will be performed with guidance of a product lead and team members who will assist in establishing an approach
  • Perform code review and support in testing to achieve long-range goals and objectives
