We are seeking a Change Management Architect to lead the design and modernization of our enterprise change management ecosystem. This role sits at the intersection of functional change governance, technology architecture, and Walmart’s global operations, combining deep domain expertise in change processes with hands-on experience in automation, integration, and AI-driven insights. The successful candidate will be responsible for the Change Global process and target architecture to maintain how changes are initiated, assessed, approved, and deployed across diverse platforms—driving consistency, reliability, and agility across the enterprise. Designing, implementing, and maintaining a robust change management framework that supports business growth, improves operational efficiency, and enhances employee engagement will be a core responsibility of this role.We are looking a highly skilled and experienced Global Process Owner for Change Management to lead the development and implementation of a global change management process that ensures seamless integration of new initiatives, projects, and technologies across Walmart’s global operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining a robust change management framework that supports business growth, improves operational efficiency, and enhances employee engagement. Key Responsibilities Architecture & Strateg y Develop and maintain a global change management process that aligns with Walmart’s business objectives and strategic initiatives. Define the end-to-end architecture for Change —integrating ITSM (e.g., ServiceNow) and other cross functional systems. Embed policy and compliance validation into the change lifecycle through API and event-driven automation. Ensure data quality and traceability across the full CRQ lifecycle—from creation through post-change review. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, Operations, and HR, to identify and prioritize changes that require management. Develop and maintain a change management framework that includes processes, procedures, and metrics to measure effectiveness. Provide training and coaching to employees on change management best practices and tools. Identify and mitigate risks associated with changes, and develop contingency plans as needed. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in change management, and apply this knowledge to continuously improve Walmart’s change management process. You will be successful if you can drive.. End-to-End Process Oversight: Accountable for the entire Change Management lifecycle, from initiation through execution to monitoring and improvement. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Facilitating collaboration among different departments and regions to ensure seamless and efficient Change Management process execution. Technical Leadership: Serve as the technical and functional bridge between ITSM, engineering, and operations teams. Performance Monitoring: Utilizing key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor and evaluate the effectiveness and efficiency of the assigned processes. Strategic Alignment: Aligning process objectives with overall business strategy to ensure that processes contribute directly to GT organizational goals. Continuous Improvement: Leading initiatives to enhance processes continually, leveraging best practices, emerging technologies, and industry benchmarks including automation, artificial intelligence, machine learning and Agentic AI.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Operations, Business Administration with emphasis in Operations, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in SDLC Change Management, Operations, or a related field.
  • Proven track record of successfully leading change management initiatives in a large, complex organization.
  • Strong understanding of change management principles, methodologies, and best practices.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and project management skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with change management tools and software, such as Prosci, ADKAR, or similar.
  • Fluency in English; additional languages a plus.
  • Option 1: Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, computer information systems, software engineering, or related area and 6 years’ experience in software engineering or related area.
  • Option 2: 8 years’ experience in software engineering or related area.

Nice To Haves

  • Doctorate or Master’s degree in Operations Management, Business Administration with emphasis in Operations, or a related field.
  • Certification in change management (ITIL, ITSM, etc.) and/or enterprise architecture framework
  • Experience in a retail or consumer goods industry.
  • Knowledge of Walmart’s business operations and processes.
  • Master’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, computer information systems, software engineering, or related area and 4 years' experience in software engineering or related area
