The Fleet Response team's mission is to accelerate the safe deployment of Waymo's autonomous technology. Fleet Response operates at the leading edge of our autonomous driving operations. In certain ambiguous or complex situations, the Waymo Driver can request assistance from human Fleet Response Operators (FROs) to provide additional context and information. Our team works at the leading edge of Waymo's technology, determining how to combine on-vehicle and off-vehicle resources to get our vehicles on the road faster, and ensuring our riders receive high-quality services when needed. You will: Collaborate with other teams to help our self-driving vehicles in ambiguous or complex situations Prototype and deploy safe, and reliable solutions to real-world challenges in autonomous driving Work with our users, the Fleet Response Operations team Work on mission-critical systems and infrastructure to support Waymo's fleet Have the opportunity to work on the full length and range of the problem (web apps, distributed systems, and data analysis)
