About The Position

As a Software Engineer, you will work collaboratively within a Scrum environment to deliver B2B integration solutions between TradeCentric’s platform and its technology partners like Salesforce, Coupa, BigCommerce, NetSuite, and technology bridges for a wide variety of systems. With an emphasis on reliability, quality, security, and customer outcomes, the endpoint solutions you deliver will contribute to customer success and help drive TradeCentric’s next phase of growth.

Requirements

  • Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is strongly preferred
  • 3-6 years of software development experience
  • Emerging technical expertise in at least one area of endpoint technologies, development discipline, or technology
  • Adept at working with Git, containers, and Apache/Linux
  • Creative problem-solver
  • A great teammate. Confident and passionate, yet humble and empathetic
  • Works independently on routine assignments and seeks guidance for complex or new assignments
  • A champion and practitioner of Scrum’s principle qualities
  • Developing proficiency with PHP (Laravel/Zend) & JavaScript (Node.js); building scalable secure services/APIs and working with data platforms including Elasticsearch, Logstash, MySQL, and MongoDB.
  • Experience working with various data formats including XML, cXML, JSON and HTTP/API protocols

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with other formats such as X12 EDI is desirable but not mandatory
  • Experience with one or more integration technologies and APIs for eCommerce and eProcurement platforms such as Adobe/Magento, Salesforce, BigCommerce, Shopify, Coupa, NetSuite, Ariba, SAP, or similar

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to research, design, develop, test, and deploy software solutions for your area
  • Champion quality and meet quality requirements for all work, including unit test development, adherence to quality gates, and contribution to test plans
  • Research API and integration solutions from partner platforms
  • Assist in assessing and diagnosing production issues, contribute to recommendations and resolution
  • Collaborate with peers and stakeholders in all aspects of Scrum and other team ceremonies
  • Contribute to discussions with Development Manager and Product Manager on research, prioritization, scoping, and acceptance criteria for roadmap deliverables
  • Support and participate in continuous improvement efforts
