Lockheed Martin Rotary & Mission Systems is seeking a full-time Early Career Software Engineer. In this role, you will perform software development tasks supporting Navy programs. The successful candidate will have experience and knowledge of coding in Java on a Linux Operating System. Must be a US Citizen. This position will require a government security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.

Requirements

BS in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Computer Engineering
Demonstrated ability to work within a Linux operating system
Academic or professional experience with object-oriented programming using Java
Must be a US Citizen; this position will require a government security clearance.
This position is located on-site at a facility that requires special access

Nice To Haves

Understanding of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes), Ansible, GitLab, Virtualization (VMWare, etc.)
Basic understanding of Agile Software Development
Academic or Professional experience using MATLAB, Python
Academic or professional experience in Database design and development
