Lockheed Martin Space is seeking a full-time early career Software Engineer in Boulder, Colorado on the NextGen Geo (NGG) OPIR Program. In this role, you will integrate into a small, high-performing Product Team led by a Scrum Master and Product Owner, support daily Scrum Meetings, Team Demos, and monthly Staff Calls. Work under very general supervision in support of larger team goals. The successful candidate will have experience and/or knowledge of software development activities will involve design, development, maintenance, and testing of code written primarily in C++. Be able to interpret complex system requirements. Must be a US Citizen; this position will require obtaining a government security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree from an accredited college in Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Aerospace, Computer Engineering, or related discipline.
  • Programming experience or relevant course work (C++/C, Java and/or Python)
  • Experience developing maintainable code as well as performing unit, integration, and regression testing
  • Ability to obtain a secret clearance
  • Must be a US Citizen

  • Linux OS background/Experience developing in a Linux environment
  • Scripting skills
  • Exposure to work high-stakes work environments & executing critical deliverables in a fast-paced environment
  • TS/SCI clearance
  • Self-driven, strong work ethic and ability to work independently with attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office software products
