Lockheed Martin Space is seeking a full-time Early Career Software Engineer. This role will support the entire flight software development lifecycle (design, integration, test) for the Payload Flight Software domains. Responsibilities could include working in a collaborative environment interaction with peers, other SSPL FSW, SmartSat team members, and occasional customer interactions. This includes supporting the development of Specifications and Interface Control Documents, creating test scenarios for code changes to test new capability or verify defect fix, and participating in system testing activities with other organizations. Development, testing, and verification of this software occurs in a dynamic, agile environment with guidance from more experienced members of the team.

Requirements

  • Computer Science Engineering or other related degree program from an accredited college/university.
  • Experience/knowledge in software development
  • This position requires special access to support the program and requires the selected candidate to be a US Citizen.

Responsibilities
