What We’re Doing Our Team, the Command and Control, Battle Management and Communications (C2BMC) Regional team, is constantly engineering, developing and integrating new capabilities for the U.S. Missile Defense System. protecting both the United States and its allies. This large, fast paced team, is composed of many small agile teams working together dynamic environment with a common mission to develop and deploy leading-edge missile defense technologies. The Work The C2BMC-Regional Application Agile Release Train is seeking a software engineer that will thrive in a fast paced team environment in the design, development, and testing of the C2BMC applications. Requirements

  • Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 2 years of professional experience.
  • Must currently hold an ACTIVE DoD Final Secret Security Clearance to be considered for this position.
  • Experience software development of Java-based applications in a UNIX/Linux platform environment.
  • Experience developing software in a structured, process-based integrated team environment.
  • Experience utilizing configuration management tools in the development of software (e.g. Git/Gitlab/etc.).
  • Understanding of standard system engineering design artifacts such as System requirements, Use Cases, and SysML diagrams.
  • Security+ or equivalent certification required within 60 days of starting

Nice To Haves

  • Strong Java development background.
  • Experience using Eclipse to develop software applications.
  • Experience using Maven or Gradle.
  • Experience using automated unit testing frameworks.
  • Familiarity with resolving cyber security issues identified by Fortify/SonarQube/etc.
  • Familiarity with analysis of software performance against performance requirements.
