Requirements
- Expertise in building and optimizing high-performance systems.
- 1+ years of hands-on experience with software service containerization in real-world production systems.
- 1+ years of experience in backend development, specifically with technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Strong understanding of distributed system design principles.
- Excellent problem-solving and data analysis skills.
- Proficient in modern AI tools in software development (like: GenAI, Cursor, Claude)
- US Citizenship or US Permanent Residency is preferred.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Familiarity with big data technologies (e.g., Spark, Hadoop, Kafka).
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain large-scale software platforms that serve millions of users globally.
- Contribute significantly to the architecture and evolution of our core data platform.
- Build and deploy microservices using modern containerization frameworks like Docker and Kubernetes to power all Eightfold products.
- Deliver high-performance, reliable, and scalable solutions leveraging best-in-class technologies.
- Diagnose and resolve complex problems within our distributed systems environment.
- Support the seamless deployment and operation of our products across various environments.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Operations, Analytics, Marketing, and Business teams to drive successful product development.
