Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in software delivery, technical project management, or engagement management within IT services or consulting.
  • Strong client-facing experience leading custom software or digital transformation engagements.
  • Ability to manage distributed engineering teams and oversee architecture-level discussions.
  • Demonstrated experience owning project budgets, timelines, and delivery outcomes.
  • Solid understanding of software architecture, APIs, integrations, and modern development practices.
  • Experience contributing to or leading pre-sales conversations, technical proposals and cost estimates.
  • High-ownership leader who proactively drives delivery excellence and client impact.

Nice To Haves

  • Background in digital solutions for Financial Services, Consumer, or B2B sectors (preferred but not required).
  • Prior hands-on software engineering experience (nice to have).
  • Familiarity with Java, Python, or similar environments (nice to have).

Responsibilities

  • Drive pre-sales efforts for custom software engagements, including solution scoping, technical estimation, and proposal development.
  • Use your unique vision to inspire clients and realize their business processes and strategies in apps and software.
  • Serve as the primary delivery lead for custom software builds, accountable for scope, timeline, budget, and quality.
  • Manage distributed development teams (e.g., Europe, Egypt, offshore) and coordinate cross-functional technical collaboration.
  • Translate client business requirements into technical solution designs and structured delivery roadmaps.
  • Facilitate client workshops and technical discussions, confidently explaining architecture trade-offs and integration approaches.
  • Drive Agile/Scrum-based project management processes to ensure transparent and efficient delivery.
  • Partner closely with Simon-Kucher Consulting Partners to shape winning client pitches while owning the technical narrative.
  • Provide responsive client support during critical phases and contribute to building scalable delivery frameworks in North America.
