About The Position

In IT Application Development internship, you will learn to work from systems designs and specifications and use standard procedures and techniques to maintain, modify, and devise new or existing applications programs varying from basic to high complexity and scope. You could prepare flow charts, write machine instructions and procedures, and debug and document programs. As a Software Developer, put your knowledge to use by creating software that is used internally to help our company be as efficient as possible. You'll work in a great atmosphere for interacting with co-workers and spreading knowledge. Requirements

  • Applicant should be enrolled in or pursuing higher education
  • Possess intermediate PC skills
  • Ability to be patient and attentive to detail
  • Excellent verbal and listening skills and ability to use positive language
  • Time management skills

Responsibilities

  • Under immediate supervision, completes Internal Projects as assigned by Software Development management.
  • Typical scope of the assignment is usually related to basic enhancements or functionality of multiple PREMIER internal pre-established programs or application screens.
  • Test functionality including necessary documentation for review by supervisor.
  • Documents changes to existing classes and programs for review by supervisor.
  • Accurately complete reports consisting of work time spent on projects within the department’s standard timeline.
  • Ability to follow a stringent Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
  • Must be able to efficiently manage time by organizing and prioritizing tasks to maximize productive results, and allow for flexibility, where necessary, to serve a change in priorities or an additional challenge.
  • Conduct tasks in a manner that complies with all consumer protection regulations and treats consumers fairly
