Samsung Electronics America, Inc. is now accepting applications for its Summer 2026 Intern Program. This exciting opportunity offers a paid, 10-week experience for selected UNDERGRAD OR GRAD (based on HM request) students. The program will run from June 1 to August 7. Eligible students will be seniors or recent graduates, possess U.S. work authorization, and be able to work full-time on a 5-day-per-week on-site schedule. Additionally, participation in this program requires that you be located in the United States for the duration of the engagement. Position Summary This position is part of the eCommerce Technology division at Samsung Electronics America. Our platform powers Samsung's eCommerce operations, handling over $1.5 billion in transactions annually and serving millions of visitors each year. To ensure an optimal customer experience, we require a performant, scalable, and highly functional platform. The Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) team plays a critical role in certifying the platform's quality and reliability. The SDET team is responsible for testing weekly releases, reviewing and executing platform migration test cases, and building frameworks and automation to expedite test case execution. The team also investigates bugs that cause customer friction points and prepares for upcoming launches, including major events like the holiday season. This role is integral to ensuring the platform's seamless operation and enhancing the customer experience. As an Intern, you will contribute to these efforts by assisting in the development and execution of test cases, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and helping to identify and resolve issues. You will also have the opportunity to work on automation frameworks and tools to improve testing efficiency and effectiveness.
