Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field and 4 years in any job title involving Quality Assurance experience.
• 4 years of test automation programming in Java and Python
• 4 years of documenting, tracking and resolving issues using JIRA, Confluence, ALM, or MTM
• 3 years testing REST APIs using Postman to verify functionality, performance, and data accuracy
• 3 years testing all layers of modern applications, including front-end, APIs, and back-end services, to ensure full coverage and quality across the stack
• 2 years working with SQL including optimizing complex queries for data validation and backend testing
• 2 years working with load testing tools including JMeter or Locust
• 2 years working in an Agile environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on point of sale product requirements and technical specifications, and define test strategies for functional, regression, integration, performance, and security testing.
• Conduct manual and automated testing to identify bugs and ensure quality standards are met by login, tracking, and managing defects.
• Provide detailed test reports and quality metrics to stakeholders.
• Design and maintain automation test frameworks and integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
• Guide and mentor junior QA engineers in best practices and testing methodologies; lead code reviews and test case reviews for QA artifacts; and work closely with developers, product managers, and business analysts throughout the software development lifecycle.
