Software Development Engineer II In this role, you will: Develop and test standard software applications and related programs and procedures to ensure they meet design requirements. Apply standard methods to design, develop, debug, and modify components of software applications and tools. Complete tasks and/or provide data to support implementation of solutions. Apply software design principles, data structures and/or design patterns and computer science fundamentals to write code that is clean, maintainable, optimized, modular with good naming conventions. Report clearly on current work status. Work on a project supplying business partners with customized hotel deals to provide the business with growth in the Merchandising market. Develop Java REST APIS for travel partners. Work with AWS cloud services, create ETLs for data ingestion and develop UI using React and other front-end technologies. This position is not eligible for relocation benefits or assistance. May work remotely or from home 2 days/week; must live within commuting distance of Expedia office.
