DESCRIPTION As a Cellular 5G/4G Firmware Verification Architect, you will be at the forefront of the embedded 5G/4G/multimode cellular firmware initiative within a silicon design group responsible for designing and productizing state-of-the-art cellular SoCs. This position requires an individual who is proficient in all aspects of embedded firmware verification, thrives in a dynamic cross-functional organization, embraces open dialogue, and demonstrates adaptability to continuously evolving requirements.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of three years of relevant industry experience in wireless communication are prerequisites.
  • A strong understanding of AI/ML fundamentals and the ability to utilize AI tools such as MCP, Agents, RAG, and LLMs are essential.
  • Proficiency in employing AI/ML technologies to optimize workflow efficiency
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Comprehensive knowledge of wireless communication fundamentals, including signal processing, and proficiency in 4G/5G specifications.
  • The ability to define intricate verification use cases and schemes, thereby enhancing system performance and establishing verification criteria.
  • Experience in firmware test case planning, design, and development for 4G/5G functional and performance scenarios.
  • A robust understanding of various 4G/5G signaling and physical layer test equipment, including Keysight, Anritsu, and R&S, along with their respective automation interfaces.
  • A background in generative models, natural language processing, and large language models (LLMs).
  • Experience in failure analysis, quality engineering, or performance analysis for AI/ML-based applications.
  • A deep understanding of software engineering principles and fundamental computer science concepts.
  • Proficiency in build and source code control tools.
  • A willingness to learn new architectures and frameworks.
  • Experience with network emulators, silicon prototyping, emulation systems, and virtual platforms.
  • A master’s degree or PhD with relevant experience in the wireless communications industry is highly preferred.
