As a member of the GraphQL champions, you will work directly with senior technology leaders and product owners to transform our business and technology capabilities. You will streamline product integration processes using Apollo GraphQL Federation. You focus on guidelines and help translate use cases into API contracts. You lead query performance cost analysis and security requirements for components. You advocate for standards, error handling, and client integration options. You continuously learn and improve the development and procedures, quickly prototyping sample solutions in Node.js or Spring Boot. You collaborate within a community of architecture leaders tasked with establishing and evolving a unified architecture vision.

Requirements

• 2+ years of industry experience
• BSCS, BSEE, or other equivalent technical degree or equivalent experience
• Experience in object-oriented build methodology and large-scale application development in one or more of the following: Java
• Experience in backend development; proficiency in Spring Boot and relevant technologies is a big plus
• Experienced in Agile development environments; flexible, adaptable, and able to deliver in large development projects in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
• Self-motivated and fast learner with excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal, and analytical skills

Responsibilities

• Providing leadership for Spring Boot/DGS GraphQL Federation build and implementation
• Ownership of highly critical production systems
• Enabling high availability and efficiency
• Collaborating with teams responsible for other foundational systems
• Supporting product teams in GraphQL learning and migration, championing GraphQL federation and schema build
• Advocating for GraphQL adoption and guidelines
