About The Position

We are hiring a Software Development Engineer – Automation to support Amazon’s Project Kuiper eCommerce and provisioning platforms. This role combines strong software engineering fundamentals with advanced automation design to validate mission-critical order-to-cash and ISP workflows. You will build scalable automation frameworks, integrate CI/CD pipelines, and partner with platform teams to ensure reliability and quality across Kuiper systems.

Requirements

• 4+ years of professional software development experience (non-internship)
• 3+ years of experience in system design and architecture
• Strong experience with TypeScript and Playwright
• Experience designing REST APIs and working with JSON
• Hands-on AWS experience and cloud-native development skills
• Ability to quickly learn new technologies and frameworks

Nice To Haves

• Experience with AWS services such as DynamoDB, Step Functions, ECS
• 3+ years working across the full SDLC (design through operations)
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent experience

Responsibilities

• Design and develop automation frameworks using TypeScript and Playwright
• Build automated tests for UI and API-based systems
• Develop components, services, and data models supporting automation
• Collaborate with satellite, network, and security engineering teams
• Translate complex finance, legal, and tax requirements into testable automation
• Build CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and system health dashboards
• Troubleshoot failures and improve long-term system reliability
