QA Automation Lead : Playwright with Typescript

About The Position

As a QA Automation Lead (Playwright & TypeScript), you will make an impact by developing robust automation frameworks and enabling high quality product delivery across enterprise systems. You will be a valued member of the Quality Engineering & Assurance team, collaborating closely with developers, product owners, and cross functional stakeholders to strengthen our automation strategy.

Requirements

8–10 years of experience in a test automation development role using Playwright and TypeScript.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Jenkins or GitHub Actions.
Strong understanding of SDLC and STLC.
Familiarity with Agile methodologies and ceremonies.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast paced environment.

Nice To Haves

Demonstrated ability to optimize automation frameworks for reliability and performance.
Experience troubleshooting complex test automation issues across distributed systems.
Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with technical and non technical teams.
Prior experience contributing to code reviews or improving testability within development teams.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain automated test frameworks using Playwright and TypeScript.
Write and execute SQL queries (simple to medium complexity) to validate data accuracy and integrity.
Collaborate with cross functional teams to understand enterprise tech stacks and build scalable automation solutions.
Design, enhance, and implement automation frameworks to improve testing efficiency and coverage.
Analyze and troubleshoot automation test failures, identify root causes, and propose actionable solutions.
