Software Development Director
About The Position
Oracle AI Data Platform unites industry-leading foundational models with governed enterprise data to enable developers to rapidly and easily build their enterprise lakehouse, AI agents, and applications, and business users to effortlessly use agentic experiences to transform their business. AI Data Platform team is seeking an experienced Director of Software Engineering to lead key initiatives that accelerate development and adoption of key data platform capabilities. In this role, you will drive the design, development, and integration of state-of-the-art technologies for data engineering that enable large scale AI enabled enterprise. You will lead the design, development and operation of data connectivity frameworks and implement functionality such as zero-copy ETL and data ingestion. You will collaborate with stakeholders across product, engineering, and science to shape the AI Data Platform’s roadmap and deliver differentiated value to enterprise customers and partners. You should be able to function well in a large geographically distributed team and have the hunger to drive for impactful results on established schedules while maintaining sanity for themselves and their team.
