About The Position

OCI Networking is seeking a Director of Physical Networking to lead a global team of engineers and managers in the design, development, deployment, and operational excellence of our data center and cloud networks. This role will define strategy and oversee end-to-end delivery, modernization, automation, and operations across all network builds. Your leadership will be critical to meeting customer commitments and enabling the organization’s growth. Responsibilities Strategy and Team Management: Lead a global team of network managers, architects, and engineers responsible for designing and deploying OCI network infrastructure. Oversee the network build process across all OCI data centers and cloud operations, ensuring standardization and automation. Drive a DevOps mindset within the team, focusing on eliminating manual tasks through automated solutions. Collaborate with OCI Networking leadership to define vision, strategy, and roadmaps for network design and deployment. Ensure smooth onboarding of new technologies and systems to enhance operational capabilities. Budget Management: Oversee the budget allocation for the PN organization, ensuring resources are optimized to meet goals and deliver impactful cloud solutions. Process and Procedures: Establish and enforce rigorous, predictable processes for managing changes, incidents, and escalations related to network build projects. Analyze and improve existing workflows to ensure efficiency, quality, and alignment with business goals. Define and track KPIs and metrics to measure individual and team performance, driving continuous improvement. Provide documentation, training, and insights to internal teams to ensure seamless day-to-day operations. Quality Assurance: Implement robust testing and validation procedures to ensure the reliability, security, and performance of our cloud services. Uphold industry standards and best practices in cloud technology. Market Trends: Stay abreast of technology changes, competitive offerings, and customer feedback to identify new opportunities for product enhancements and expansions. Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated locations only US: Hiring Range in USD from: $122,500 to $291,800 per annum. May be eligible for bonus, equity, and compensation deferral.
