About The Position

Designing, developing, and implementing systems software solutions that meet DoD specifications and performance standards Conducting thorough testing, debugging, and performance analysis to ensure software stability and optimal functionality Collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate systems software with broader mission-critical applications and systems Preparing comprehensive technical documentation, including design specifications, test procedures, and maintenance reports Supporting continuous improvement initiatives by identifying areas for process enhancements and implementing best practices #LI-TF1 FILLING THIS POSITION IS CONTINGENT UPON FUNDING

Requirements

  • Five plus years experience in a software developer role
  • One plus years experience must be with communication systems, networks, or technologies
  • One plus years experience must include agile software development experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field
  • Demonstrated ability to design, develop, and maintain systems software that adheres to DoD operational and security requirements
  • Proficient in system-level programming, utilizing languages such as C, C++, and/or Java for robust software development
  • Skilled in debugging, performance tuning, and rigorous code testing to ensure software reliability and security
  • Possess an active DoD secret security clearance

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with modern development frameworks and tools (e.g., Git, Jenkins, CI/CD pipelines) to streamline software delivery
  • Experience working within agile methodologies, enabling iterative development and rapid integration
  • Knowledge of secure coding practices and cybersecurity frameworks to enhance the resilience of systems software
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex system issues and recommend effective solutions
