About The Position

CACI’s Agile Solution Factory (ASF) is seeking an experienced Software Developer with Oracle DBA/development expertise for a critical system supporting a DoD program. The ASF fosters innovation and seeks individuals who can offer creative solutions to complex technical and procedural challenges. Adaptability and constructive collaboration within a technically diverse and geographically separated team are essential. This role involves application sustainment, including developing new features, enhancing existing functions, and performing defect analysis and fixes. The successful candidate will be an integral part of an Agile Scrum team, supporting the customer's mission through Agile software development. Responsibilities include collaborating with team members, other product teams, cybersecurity, and stakeholders, designing and developing new features, troubleshooting defects, enforcing quality standards, and delivering iterative releases. The developer will write tasks and tests for user stories, estimate work, and report status in daily Scrum sessions.

Requirements

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen, with an active secret DoD security clearance.
  • College degree (B.S., M.S.) in Information Assurance, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related discipline. Experience will be considered in lieu of education.
  • Minimum of 7 years related technical experience.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong collaboration skills and desire to work within a team.
  • Highly responsible, team-oriented individual with very strong work ethic, and a self-starter.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, constantly changing environment.
  • Solution-based thinker; capable of resolving complex technical challenges.
  • Works well with limited oversight.
  • DoD 8570/8140 certification (current), i.e., Sec+ CE, CASP CE etc.
  • Oracle DBA/development experience
  • Oracle database experience

Responsibilities

  • Technical lead and product architect of the Agile developer team
  • Research, design, develop and/or modify application software systems in direct support of application release deployments.
  • Produces detailed specifications and writes software code.
  • Works closely with business analysts, designers, and subject matter experts to understand functional requirements.
  • Creates and executes test cases and authors technical documentation related to the application.
  • Ensures adherence to program configuration change control standards.
  • Understands the structure and functionality of the COTS applications (i.e., Oracle).
  • Writes interfaces and conversion routines leveraging the application programming interface (API).
  • Researches and analyzes third party vendor software tools for implementation within the software development environment.
  • Assist with metrics tracking completion, defect reporting, defect prevention, root cause analysis, and development efficiency and quality.
  • Contribute to an atmosphere of cross-functional teamwork within the organization’s agile project lifecycle.
  • Lead Integrated Product Teams (IPT) sessions
