About The Position

Sigma Defense is seeking a Software Developer to work on an upcoming Navy contract in Norfolk, VA. This is a contingent position that is pending award of contract. This means that the position is subject to the successful awarding of a contract and will be confirmed once the contract is finalized. Requirements

3+ years of professional experience in High Level Programming Language (e.g. C++, Java, Python)
3+ years of professional experience in Operating Systems (Windows and Linux)
3+ years of professional experience in Linux System administration
3+ years of professional experience in VMware
3+ years of professional experience in Software Containerization application and utilization (e.g. Docker, IBM WebSphere Hybrid Edition, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure)
3+ years of professional experience in Repository management experience (e.g. Git, Mercurial)
3+ years of professional experience in Software configuration management of tracking bug/enhancements in software releases
3+ years of professional experience in System and Network Security related activities to include design, implementation, configuration and enforcement of security controls on network, hardware, and software components and devices
Must be a U.S. citizen
Candidate must possess or have the ability to obtain an active TS/SCI clearance or higher
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in a technical discipline such as Computer Engineer or Computer Science
