About The Position

We're looking for a Software Developer to support the development of internal tools, automation systems, and web-based applications. This role is ideally for someone early in their career who is comfortable working in production codebases, can take ownership of clearly defined tasks, and is eager to grow through hands-on work and feedback. You'll work closely with a senior engineer on practical, high-impact projects such as automations, integrations, APIs, and internal platforms.

Requirements

Ability to work independently on assigned tasks with minimal supervision
Strong judgement around when to ask questions or seek clarification instead of guessing
Basic proficiency in Python
Understanding core programming concepts (control flow, data structures, functions, classes)
Familiarity with REST APIs and JSON
Basic experience with SQL and relational databases
Comfortable using Git for version control (branching, commits, pull requests)
Ability to read, understand, and modify existing code written by others
Clear verbal and written communication skills

Nice To Haves

Experience with web frameworks (Flask, FastAPI, ASP.NET, etc.)
Basic frontend knowledge (HTML, CSS, JS)
Exposure to automation, scripting, or systems integration
Familiarity with Docker or containerized environments
Experience working in a ticket-driven environment

Responsibilities

Implement features and enhancements based on specifications, tickets, or existing patterns
Work within established codebases and contribute incremental, maintainable improvements
Debug issues, investigate root causes, and propose practical fixes
Integrate with third-party APIs and internal services
Write clean, readable, and well-documented code
Participate in code reviews and apply feedback to improve quality and consistency
Assist in testing, validation, and basic documentation
Communicate progress, blockers, and questions clearly and proactively
