About The Position

PeopleTec is currently seeking a Software Developer to support their Huntsville, AL location. This role involves developing, coding, testing, and debugging new software or enhancements to existing software. The successful candidate will possess a strong understanding of business applications, user, performance, quality, interface, and security requirements. They will collaborate with technical staff to identify and resolve software-related issues, address customer complaints, and implement suggestions for improvements and enhancements. The position may also involve assisting in the development of software user manuals. Key responsibilities include desktop design, testing, security lockdown implementation, integration with standard software packages, integration with automated patching and deployment technologies, documentation, and training, specifically focusing on automating application and configuration deployments and updates. Requirements

6 years of experience
TypeScript2
.NET (for back end)
Vue, or another modern JavaScript framework (for front end)
Must be a U.S. Citizen
An active DoD Top Secret clearance with SCI/ SCI poly is required to perform this work. Candidates are required to have an active Top Secret clearance with SCI/ SCI poly upon hire, and the ability to maintain this level of clearance during their employment.
Bachelor Degree in related field or in lieu of degree 4 additional years of experience

PostgreSQL preferred (but can substitute with other relationship database experience)

Responsibilities

Develops codes, tests, and debugs new software or enhancements to existing software.
Has good understanding of business applications as well as user, performance, quality, interface, and security requirements.
Works with technical staff to understand problems with software and resolve them.
Resolves customer complaints with software and responds to suggestions for improvements and enhancements.
May assist in development of software user manuals.
